At the culture station, the focus is on the fjord and what it has meant to people in the area – and what people have meant to the fjord.
In the exhibition you can learn more about the history of the building as an old station building and how the railway helped develop Glyngøre from a small fishing village to a thriving town and now an attractive town with a strong sense of community. You can go “underwater” and experience the life of the fjord – meet crabs, starfish and many other animals from the fjord. And get an insight into the importance of the fishing industry for Sallingegnen.
